Make recognition and teaching language part of the shortlist.
Czechia requires careful attention to your previous qualification and the language of the degree. Build time for recognition paperwork and compare each faculty’s requirements before deciding where to apply.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Beyond the brochure
Country-specific facts and practical questions to build a stronger study plan.
01
Distinguish Czech-taught and foreign-language study
The official guide distinguishes Czech-language study at public and state institutions from foreign-language programmes that can charge tuition. Ask for current fees for the exact English-taught programme, plus any language preparation you would need.
Recognition of school education and recognition of higher education are different processes. Some accredited universities can assess prior education within their own admission procedure. That assessment may be valid only for the institution concerned.
Recognition can require legalized certificates, certified translations and information about subjects and study hours. Ask the responsible authority or university for its checklist before commissioning documents. Missing details can create avoidable delays.
Our planning suggestion: compare the curriculum, teaching language, recognition work, annual fees and housing offer together. For a regulated profession, ask the relevant professional body whether the qualification meets the requirements where you intend to practise.
We turn the requirements into a clear plan for your profile, your budget and your next step.
✦
Recognition-route clarity
We help identify the institution’s requested recognition process and organise its document checklist.
✦
Language-aware budgeting
We compare the degree’s teaching language and any preparation costs alongside tuition.
✦
A practical faculty shortlist
We help you compare programme requirements and timelines rather than treating every university as the same application.
Our role is preparation and guidance. Universities, scholarship bodies and immigration authorities make their own decisions.

✈Explore step 1 of 7Choose a programme and language
A typical international degree-student route where immigration permission is required. Steps can overlap; nationality, course and official decisions determine your exact route. This is a planning guide, not your application status.

Follow instructions on insurance, entry documents and any remaining steps after approval.
07STEP 07
Arrive and complete registration
Check the Foreign Police or residence-registration requirements and complete university enrolment.
ASK BEFORE YOU COMMIT
Questions worth asking
Can I reuse one university’s recognition everywhere?
Not necessarily. Recognition within a particular university’s admission procedure may be valid only there; ask other institutions what they accept.
Does studying in Czechia automatically mean no tuition?
No. The language and institution matter. Obtain the current fee for your specific foreign-language programme.
